GRJC - Pre Blessing Overlanding (Members Only)
PAID Members Only
We invite all members of the GRJC community to join us for an exciting and adventurous overnight overlanding expedition that will take place prior to the highly anticipated Jeep blessing ceremony. This expedition is not only a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow Jeep enthusiasts but also a chance to immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature while enjoying the thrill of overlanding. The convoy will convene after a brief yet informative meeting, which is scheduled to take place at the Rockford Meijer parking lot at precisely 5:00 PM. Following the driver's meeting to discuss the route, safety protocols, and any other pertinent information, with the aim to depart no later than 5:15 PM.
Any questions or issues or concerns please reach out to: Damon Wentworth 616 902 9770
As we embark on this adventure, it is important to note that each participant is responsible for their own food supplies and camping setup. This expedition will provide a rustic and immersive camping experience, as we will be engaging in dispersed camping in a natural setting, which means there will be no restroom facilities available. Participants should come prepared for this unique experience, bringing along all necessary camping gear, food, and personal items to ensure a comfortable stay in the great outdoors. We plan to camp in close proximity to one another, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among the group. Weather permitting, we hope to gather around a warm fire in the evening, where we can share stories, enjoy good company, and make lasting memories together under the stars.
As dawn breaks the following morning, we will pack up our camping gear and prepare to hit the road once again to arrive at the blessing down the road. This event is a wonderful tradition that brings together Jeep owners and enthusiasts, celebrating our shared passion for off-roading and the adventures that lie ahead. We look forward to seeing everyone there, ready to share in the excitement and spirit of the Jeep community!
