Join us for our exciting Annual Overland Fall Color Tour adventure in overlanding!
We know and understand overlanding isn't for everyone. Although this is going to be an awesome trip and event, please read everything in it's entirety below when deciding to sign up to join us on our trip.
The plan is to have the convoy meet up at the Meijer parking lot in Rockford at 8am, We'll have a little “drivers meeting” and promptly leave to head north. We have a generalized planned route, but will be dependent on our group size, trail conditions, and timing.

The group will engage in dispersed camping on national forest or state land. Please prepare accordingly and ensure you have your ORV stickers. The weather during this time of year can be unpredictable, ranging from 70 degrees and sunny to 30 degrees and snowy. Therefore, pack appropriately. Suitable camping options include ground tents, rooftop tents, off-road campers/trailers, hammocks, or staying in your vehicles, depending on your preference.
It is essential for the group to remain together during nighttime camping, so accommodations such as hotels or Airbnbs are not allowed for this event to avoid complications with timing and coordination.
Participants are responsible for their own food and fuel. While someone may choose to cook for the entire group, it is advisable to plan on bringing your own food to prepare and consume. Although we may pass through towns to refuel, be prepared to be "off the grid" concerning your packing for the journey.

If you sign up for a ride, please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel. Missing that window means you’ll sit out the next ride.
With only 20 spots per ride, we want to give everyone a fair chance to participate. Life happens—just let us know so we can fill your spot and keep rides full and fun for everyone.
Important Club Member Notice: GRJC tickets will be used for member check-in. One ticket is required per person. Each club member that wishes to receive club credit for attendance to this event, even if part of a larger party attending, must register for their own separate ticket so that they can be checked-in and their attendance linked to their personal membership account.
